WHEAt and barley Legacy for Breeding Improvement

Eucarpia Cereal/IWIW2 joint meeting – 19-22 March 2018 – Clermont-Ferrand, France

We are pleased to announce the next Eucarpia Cereal section meeting, jointly organised with the 2nd International Wheat Innovation Workshop, that will be held in Clermont-Ferrand (France) from the 19thto 22th of March, 2018.


The cereal section congress of EUCARPIA is the opportunity to learn about recent developments in genetics and cereal breeding, from basic research on quantitative genetics, breeding methodology, crop modelling, genome organization and evolution to applied research on genome editing, QTL detection for marker assisted selection, plant-micro-organism interaction, biotic and abiotic stresses.

The 2nd edition of the International Wheat Innovation Workshop (IWIW2) is the opportunity to present complementary results obtained in major wheat programmes and pave the way for future collaborations and funding opportunities.

Registration fees are applied to attend the Eucarpia Cereal, but the participation to the IWIW2 is free. In any case, registration is mandatory to attend both meetings.
